4. The Boathouse Bistro – 12 By-Way, Boothbay Harbor

The 1st floor dining room and bar is the winter home for locals and guests from away alike. it’s cozy, intimate and talk to your neighbor kind of tavern.  During the summer it’s the coolest place around on a hot day being one of the only air-conditioned dining rooms in town. 6. Lobsterman’s Wharf – 224 Ocean Point Road, East Boothbay

  

An East Boothbay landmark overlooking the Damariscotta River, Lobsterman’s serves locals and visitors a traditional seafood menu with cold beer and cocktails. Lovely views. 

7. Damariscotta River Grill – 155 Main Street, Damariscotta

  Damariscotta is the oyster capital of New England, and the Damariscotta Grill is the perfect place to give them a try. The Permaquid oysters are fresh from the river right outside the window. Great Happy Hour specials. Damariscotta’s main street is like one of Maine’s most charming streets. Come early to give yourself time to explore 

8. Coveside Marina and Restaurant – 105 Coveside Rd, South Bristol

 This one is all about the experience. The scenic drive to get to Christmas Cove, the restaurant itself is a bit like stepping back in time – a local favorite and a little rustic – don’t miss the live music on Friday and Saturday nights and the Sunday Deck Parties. The view of the cove from every window and from the decks is not to be missed.
